Analysis of ticket presales through the railway’s 12306 ticketing system, reveals that long-distance travel is dominant at the beginning and end of the holiday period, with short-distance travel dominating the middle period. Since the launch of holiday transportation ticket sales on September 13, the 12306 ticketing system has smoothly handled the large demand for tickets. The railway sector consistently adheres to the development philosophy centered on the people, deploying various strategies to increase transport capacity, enhance service quality, strengthen emergency support, and meet the holiday travel needs of passengers while ensuring the transportation of essential national goods.

Key transportation routes such as the Datong-Qinhuangdao Railway, Tangshan-Baotou Railway, Watang-Rizhao Railway, Haolebaoji-Ji’an Railway, and Lanzhou-Xinjiang Railway for north-south coal transport and west-east coal transport will be utilized effectively to ensure a stable coal supply for power plants nationwide.
