This summer, the popularity of passengers traveling across borders and engaging in sightseeing tourism on China-Laos Railway trains remained high. From July 1 to August 31, the China-Laos Railway transported a total of 3.305 million passengers, a year-on-year increase of 26.4%. Since the beginning of this year, CR-Kunming has strengthened the organization of cargo sources, focusing on high-priced and time-sensitive goods such as cross-border e-commerce and electrical and mechanical equipment. It has continuously increased the volume and variety of cargo transportation. As of September 3, the China-Laos Railway has completed the transportation of 2.963 million tons of cross-border goods this year, an increase of 1.773 million tons, or 148.9%, compared to the previous year.
