On August 23 at 8:08 AM, an international passenger train on the China-Laos Railway embarked from Kunming towards Vientiane, marking yet another journey for both trains and passengers.
The China-Laos Railway passes picturesque landscapes of green mountains and clear waters. Inside, passengers are greeted by attendants like Dai Rui, Head of Passenger Services and Train Manager at CR-Kunming’s Kunming Passenger Depot. In the 20 months since its opening, the China-Laos Railway has transported over 19 million passengers and more than 23 million tons of goods.
