It's reported that since the launch of the China-Laos Railway’s international passenger train service on April 13, a total of 53,000 passengers from 53 countries and regions have taken the high speed train from Mohan Station for cross-border travel.
Statistics show that from January 1 to August 16 this year, the China-Laos Railway operated more than 13,000 passenger trains, with a 22% year-on-year increase. It has served 11.2 million passengers, marking a 101% year-on-year increase. These efforts have promoted economic and trade exchanges between China and Laos and facilitated the high-quality development of the “Belt and Road” Initiative. The China-Laos Railway has become a golden corridor connecting both domestic and international regions, radiating to the surrounding areas, and facilitating mutual benefits.
