In accordance with the requirements of the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee, this medical care room is primarily responsible for providing medical and health support to Asian Games athletes, technical officials, media personnel, staff, volunteers, and others arriving and departing from Hangzhoudong Railway Station. “This medical care room is well-equipped, and it’s like a small clinic,” said Wang Haoru, an emergency room doctor from the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and an expert for Asian Games medical support team. The medical care room is also equipped with a negative pressure ambulance, which can reach nearby designated Asian Games medical facilities in approximately 10 minutes if transportation is required.
The Health Care Service Area of Hangzhoudong Railway Station Hub includes four major functions: health rescue, public health education, volunteer services, and rescue training, all aimed at ensuring the safety of passengers during their travels.
